Jean joined the Virginia Board of Accountancy (VBOA) in August 2001, one month after the VBOA gained independent agency status.  Jean’s primary function as Enforcement Manager is to provide management and investigative support to the Board’s Enforcement Committee.  Jean also provides critical management support to the agency in the areas of fiscal administration and procurement (eVA Security Officer) for the VBOA.

Jean is a certified Investigator through the Commonwealth of Virginia, has achieved her CLEAR certification for Investigating and is a notary.  Jean is a graduate of the Commonwealth Management Institute and has completed the CLEAR Executive Leadership Program.  Jean is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Averett University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Jean has most recently received her certification as a Virginia Contracting Associate (VCA) for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Jean’s previous experience includes store manager for Heilig-Meyers for over 20 years.
