Board Meetings, Agendas & Minutes
The purpose of a Board meeting is for the Board to accomplish its business. Board meetings are routinely scheduled several months in advance. All meetings (unless otherwise noted) are held at the Board offices, located at: 9960 Mayland Drive, 2nd Floor Conference Center, Henrico, Virginia 23233. A list of scheduled meeting dates and times is found below, with tentative agendas as developed.
All VBOA Board Meetings are open to the public. The Board Chair will generally ask all public members to introduce themselves at the beginning of each meeting and will provide each public member a five minute comment period, if desired. After the Board completes its discussion on an agenda item, if appropriate, the Board Chair will ask anyone in the audience who requested an opportunity to comment to provide their input.
The Board periodically may go into “closed session” to discuss issues of an enforcement, legal or personnel
Persons desiring to attend the meeting and requiring special accommodations/interpretive services should contact the VBOA at least 10 days prior to the meeting so that suitable arrangements can be made for an appropriate accommodation. The Board fully complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
